I am an entrepreneur by choice, a self taught designer, a handloom enthusiast and a humanitarian. I started my entrepreneurial journey in 1995 and enjoy expressing myself through my work and love to spread positive energy.
Did various stints with different concepts, labels and my passion for art, creativity, fashion, accessories and life style products propelled me to open a concept store called MAALGAADi in 2013. MAALGAADi was
ranked as the top 10 concept stores in India and now during the pandemic, the store has moved online and operates through its own website.
I am also the Co founder/ Partner of the
Handloom Label ankail a home grown
label, which aims to promote the Evergreen
Craft & Skills of our Country.
I am also the founder team of Kankali Trust, which was formed with the purpose of supporting Art and Artisans of our Country.
Joined ALL Ladies League in 2017 which helped me to lead, join hands, connect beyond borders and grow together in the spirit of sisterhood.
Presently, am the WICCI National President of
Handloom Council and I believe in the growth and upliftment of women, which will help society at large.
Am also the CEO of GOODLIFES, a hybrid E-
commerce company.
